This homeowner had a brand new roof installed a few years ago. However, the roof sustained damage in the March 2017 hail storm. The homeowner got 3 quotes and chose Roof Roof to do the project. We removed the existing roof and installed new Owens Corning ProArmor synthetic underlayment, ice and water shield, pro edge hip and ridge shingles, and ridge vent. The homeowner picked the Owens Corning Duration Williamsburg gray shingles.
Based on the before picture of this homeowners home, you would never guess that there was hail damage to their roof. After a thorough inspection and analysis, we determined that the roof had hail damage from the March 2017 hail storm. The adjuster came out and inspected to the roof and agreed with our findings.
We began by removing the existing roofing material straight down to the wood deck. We then installed ice and water shield in the valleys and around all roof penetrations. Synthetic underlayment was used across the entire roof. We then installed Owens Corning Oakridge Driftwood shingles. We then installed a new Velux skylight. The roof was finished off with ridge vent and cap shingles.
