After the insurance company approved this roof for a full roof replacement due to hail damage, this homeowner selected Roof Roof to replace it. We started by removing the existing roof down to the wood decking and replacing rotten wood. We then installed 15lb felt paper on the field of the roof. The chimney was reflashed with new metal and Owens Corning Oakridge shingles in the color Onyx Black were installed. The roof was then finished off with a new ridge vent to control heat and moisture. The project took one day to complete. 

This homeowner had an issue with water intrusion along her walls on the back of her home. She called RoofRoof out for a repair estimate. Upon inspection, we noticed that there was no flashing between the wall and the roof. Also, the wood siding was rotting. Due to the age of the roof, we advised she replace all the roofing material on the back of the home. She agreed and we started the project took 2 weeks later. We began by removing the plywood board and batten siding as well as all of the roofing material. We then installed ice and water shield along the entire roof deck and wrapped it up the walls 6". Next we started installing the shingles, the homeowner wanted us to match her existing roof so we went with the Owens Corning Oakridge Williamsburg grey shingles. We installed new step flashing along the wall. However, due to the way the shingles ran directly into the wall, we had to custom fabricate an angled step flashing detail so it would not leak. We then installed new DCI smart vents for ventilation and custom fabricated metal cap flashing. 

After the roof was completed, we installed new Mastic Barn Red vinyl siding. The project took 2 working days to complete.

We went to his Hendersonville house and provided an estimate for complete replacement. We started the project a few weeks later.
