Roof Repair Before & After Photos

In October 2017, Roof Roof was called to provide a repair estimate in Simpsonville. Once our rep was on the roof, he discovered that the shingles had sustained hail damage. The homeowner contacted his insurance company, and after an inspection by a claims specialist, it was determined that a roof replacement was needed. The existing shingles were replaced with Owens Corning Duration in Brownwood. ridgevent was added, and the existing 5" gutters were replaced with 6"seamless gutters.

This upstate homeowner found our company online and contacted us for a free estimate. Our positive reviews and competitive price won the job! We began by removing the existing roof materials, which included 1 layer of shingles. Next, we installed ice and water shield along with synthetic roof underlayment to create a barrier against moisture and drip edge to ensure that any water runoff from the roof drains into the gutters. Finally, Owens Corning Duration shingles in Onyx Black were installed and topped off with ridge vent for ventilation.

We started the project a few weeks later. We began by removing the old roof down to the sheathing. 3 sheets of OSB were replaced due to rot. We then installed ice and water shield in all of the valleys and around the chimney. We used Owens Corning ProArmor synthetic underlayment on the field of the roof. We then installed Owens Corning Duration Estate Grey shingles with matching Owens Corning ProEdge cap shingles. We then finished off the roof with new ridge vent to help alleviate heat and moisture from the attic. The job took two days to complete.

We then installed Owens Corning Duration Driftwood architectural shingles and finished the roof off with a new ridge vent. The project took 2 days to complete.
